Being the smartest guy when it comes to communism, he emphasized that West has two problems: lack of courage and people want to do everything in 100% legal way. Also, that we will have problems with China and not with Russia
From what I read yesterday, the owner wants the city to pay them for the nights already used. It seems like a last ditch effort by the owner to avoid closing the hotel.
The owner doesn't want to evict the occupants because the city is more likely to pay up. The city seems to be dragging their feet because there's no opportunity for grift if they pay the hotel instead of shoveling taxpayer funds into a homeless charity.
