This is so true. I once had a job teaching in a school run by old former Russian Commie immigrants. Those people are crazy in a way you can't fathom. It's not garden-variety crazy, like black is white or up is down. It's like black is square and up is marmalade - totally untethered from reality. You can't explain it but it's crazy-making and soul crushing and I had to quit before I lost my mind. And it is deliberate.
