What flipped me from Cruz to Trump was the CTH/Sundance breakdown of how he and Rand Paul both took payouts from Mitch in the form of committee positions in exchange for dropping their support of Tea Party candidates in 2014.
I'm willing to accept their redemption arc's, but only to a degree. Like cops, when it comes time to pick the constitution or their livelihood, they will get in line to protect their livelihood every time.
