What flipped me from Cruz to Trump was the CTH/Sundance breakdown of how he and Rand Paul both took payouts from Mitch in the form of committee positions in exchange for dropping their support of Tea Party candidates in 2014.
I'm willing to accept their redemption arc's, but only to a degree. Like cops, when it comes time to pick the constitution or their livelihood, they will get in line to protect their livelihood every time.
Support them, thank them for their occasional courage, but don't ever think of them as saviors or full blown outsiders.
Shit, even the most based patriot of all, Jim Jordan, quickly said on public TV that what Hunter did "wasn't illegal" when the scandal first broke. They all support the system when push comes to shove. I'll never forget that moment. It stung.
That's why Trump was so fantastic and why the globalist controlled establishment did everything they could to destroy him and us. Trump couldn't be bought and was in it for the country, not himself.
