Congress had their chance and they have done worse than nothing - they are complicit in the steal. On top of that, they flipped a nationwide middle finger with the "covid relief bill." You think the people who just did that, the ones LAUGHING at us, are going to suddenly vote to overturn the election results and reelect Trump? He has maybe 20 people in Congress TOTAL that want that.

All of that is to say, we have to stop wasting time on this shit. That's great if Hawley wants to be an ally, but there isn't near enough in either chamber to make a difference. It's up to the people now.

This is why I stopped holding out hope that anything gets done. Congress will do nothing. The "people" will do exactly what they've done up until this point: Nothing. Anyone thinking Pence will do what he's supposed to do can forget that as well. Remember how Pence caved over the Religious Freedom Bill? THIS is who everyone is hanging their hopes on to do the right thing and stand up to tyrants and criminals?

Go ahead and call me a doomer. Prove anything I've said is wrong.

It's not dooming, just reality. The crackpots are the ones hanging everything on the EO, or insurrection act, or the laughable Pence possibility. The swamp's response to openly stealing an election was to openly grift taxpayer money and then hand out crumbs. The govt is done; either the people make changes or we accept slavery. It's very cut and dry thanks to the brazen moves of DC.
