I believe he was teasing he'd object, but then there was talk someone was convincing him not to. He didn't release an official statement like Hawley, so that's why I'm saying it's official now.
And now the Twatter cunts are attacking him saying he's "supporting Trump's baseless claims." 🙄 Seriously screw Big Tech and all this gaslighting
Doesn't the objections need to be submitted in writing and signed by both a representative and a senator? House dems "objected" in 2016 only by voicing their objection, but were procedurally shot down ironically by Biden
I know in my heart that my homeboy Ted Cruz would be objecting too!
Should have kept his mouth shut. Mitch will get him in line before the 6th
No I think it’s better if they publicly state it. I actually think that’s the way to keep the swamp off your back because it would be too apparent
Nah, he's solid and has always wanted to take section 230 out too
LET HIM KNOW WE SUPPORT HIM 1000% AND IF HE FOLLOWS THROUGH, HE IS THE FUTURE OF THE SENATE.
There will be a lot more than that
Tuberville has been teasing an objection but has not yet committed.
I don't see any defense to not taking an early stand.
THATS MY STATE!
I am sooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!
Tuberville said he would object a week ago, what is this we finally have a senator garbage?

I've said this a few times because people seem to not know that this is just the first step. Theis means nothing unless we win the subsequent vote.
After this the houses split and each has a 2 hour debate.
Then they vote on whether the objection stands and the votes can be put aside.
There has been a lot of focus on the first part but almost none on the second. How do we win that vote?

Maybe Mitch told senators not to object, being coy, knowing that Pence is going to throw out contested electors.
I thought Rand was going to object?
