This was my thought exactly when our city council considered this bullshit, but then they specified 2in lettering. The proposal that included fines up to $5,000, revoking permits, and misdemeanors went down in flames! The police chief didn't even want to carry out this ordinance. Only one councilman voted for it and he will not get re-elected after this crap.
You know what's even more effective than a little piece of cloth on your face? Keeping your mouth shut! So how about we make a deal, you keep yours shut, and I'll do the same.

The problem is I'm on a college campus. I avoid masks as much as possible, even in many campus areas, but I'd rather not deal with expulsion/suspension/kicked out of classes. It has already happened to a few, and was highly threatened a while ago.

Seems like the best thing to do is comply with the letter of the law, and possibly adding additional signs pointing to the mandated one saying "they forced me to do this", kinda like the guy who was stickied here a couple days ago did.

Listen up people. Telling anyone to require a mask for "health" reasons is illegal. They're telling you health advice and the last I checked ONLY A DOCTOR IS LEGALLY QUALIFIED TO GIVE OUT ANY HEALTH ADVICE...NOT ANY STORE OWNER OR GOV OR MAYOR, ETC. And if they're not YOUR doctor then you don't have to listen to their advice.

Not to my knowledge, if there was a mandate, no one ever sent me a certified letter, called me, or came in person to inform me. I put this sign up because I have a health inspector coming someone in the next week or so. Thought it was the least I could do, literally :)
