I love stories about the minutemen. Just a little know fact about the Concord Minutemen. As the minutemen arrived at the North Bridge in Concord from the surrounding towns, the leaders gathered to discuss their strategy. When Concord was asked to take the lead, they refused so Captain Isaac Davis from Acton was asked. He declared, "I haven't a man who's afraid," and led his men to the bridge where he was the first officer killed in the Revolutionary War. Check it out...a wonderful story.
