First off, I dont believe Mitch would DO that, but even if he wanted to, WHY would he? For the objections to sustain, they need majority vote in his Senate, and to even GET that will be a heavy lift for him given several troublemaking GOPe scumbags who will balk.
If he wanted to sink the possibility of sustaining the objections in the Senate, all he would do is let the GOPe scumbags do what they have said already they would do (lookin at you, Romney, Collins, Murkowski) - why should HE take that heat?
And then, even if he DOES manage to herd his cats and get a sustaining objection vote to pass Senate, the even tougher lift is Pelosi's House. Its not impossible, but its going to be TOUGH and need some more uncovering like todays GA stuff.
