Always count on lefties to be impulsive losers who talk before they think.

It was a thing in the early 2000's also until the bubble collapsed, then Goldman Sachs and Bear Stearns was the media enemy du jour.

Walmart is one of the biggest predatory conglomerates out there. Stopped using them at the beginning of the Chinese Virus lockdown when their True Nazi colors became flamboyantly obvious. #boycottwalmart

What did you pick as an alternative? Target? Not defending Walmart, far from it in fact, but as a former contractor of Target, they are very left... much more than what is displayed in this tweet, they just not as vocal about it.

solo_verdades 14 points ago +15 / -1

I haven't shopped at Target in years.... Ever since they decided to have coed bathrooms.

solo_verdades 9 points ago +9 / -0

No, I'm trying to stick with places like Ace Hardware, Safeway (I know, not much different) and of course, independent & small businesses.

Here comes the part where the Stunning and/or Brave "Resistance" fighters swarm in the replies to heap praise on a ludicrously massive corporation for "speaking truth to power" or whatever.

Walmart Apologizes for Calling Josh Hawley 'Sore Loser' in 'Mistaken' Tweet About Electoral College Certification

Walmart, one of America's largest retailers, apologized for "mistakenly" calling Senator Josh Hawley a "#soreloser" on Twitter Wednesday.

"The tweet was mistakenly posted by a member of our social media team who intended to publish this comment to their personal account," said Casey Staheli, Walmart's Senior Manager of National Media Relations, told Newsweek on Wednesday. "We have removed the post and have no intention of commenting on the subject of certifying the electoral college," Staheli added. "We apologize to Senator Hawley for this error and any confusion about our position."

What liars. Yeah that employee happened to be signed in under Walmart

2
Staatssicherheit 2 points ago +2 / -0

What is the member's name and have you fired the bitch? If not, fuck off Wal-Mart.

7
Deplora 7 points ago +10 / -3

I very much doubt that this snarky Tweet reply was authorized by, or represents the sentiments of Walmart's senior management. The author is almost certainly an ex-employee of Walmart by now.

And it could definitely suck if pedes blew up walmarts corporate phone demanding they denounce it.

8
GreatBambino 8 points ago +8 / -0

You're correct. I work in corporate PR. Corporate social media accounts are always managed by low level staff or interns and the overwhelming majority of people in that career field at hard-core leftists. Unfortunately, I'm surrounded by these idiots.

Deplora 4 points ago +5 / -1

Remember the kid at the NTSB who "confirmed" to a TV news station that the names of the Asiana crash flight crew really were Sum Ting Wong, Wi Tu Lo, Ho Lee Fuk, and Bang Ding Ow? And presumably it was another clueless kid from the TV station who was communicating with the clueless kid at the NTSB.

2
EyePee 2 points ago +4 / -2

PR teams for corporations are almost never low level staff and never interns. Especially in this cancel culture era we live in.

5
GreatBambino 5 points ago +5 / -0

I said the social media accounts -- I didn't say the PR team. If you think Walmart is paying a PR executive $250,000 a year to sit at a computer all day to type out a 140 character tweets and reply to customer complaints, you're sorely mistaken.

Everything gets approved at the top. The rest of the shit is managed and monitored internally by lower level PR people or externally via a ridiculously expensive PR agency.

I used to work for a soul sucking PR agency and have since moved into internal corporate PR. But what do I know.

1
EyePee 1 point ago +1 / -0

I never mentioned anything about pay, you're claiming that big corporations allow low level and "interns" to have access to their social media accounts. One wrong tweet and they could easily lose millions maybe even 100s of millions. You continuing to mention that you worked in that field doesn't give weight to your comment. Especially when you say "low level and interns" are in control of corporations media accounts.

2
Scooby721 2 points ago +2 / -0

Of course it is. Because being a cog in the wheel of a soulless corporation, is a dream job for any NPC.

6
davidgrouchy01 6 points ago +6 / -0

The fact that a "member of" their "social media team" even thought that they could do this .... is proof that far far worse things have been done to patriots who have tried to work there.

Pick an executive, hunt them down and blow their brains out. You won't ever see a tweet like that again from them. Simple.

Walmart is a dirty scum business, it's totally evil and relies on slavery and wages so low many employees need government assistance.

The world would be so much better if Walmart didn't exist.

3
Viewer01 3 points ago +3 / -0

Wallmart just trying to get their shit ass cheap Chinese goods back in the country. Idk why any patriot shops there.

2
weneedaweedeater 2 points ago +2 / -0

I would totally buy that someone did this on accident. But that doesn't change perception in the slightest nor do I care whether it was an accident or not. Fuck off Walmart. I'll shop elsewhere.

2
Codrus 2 points ago +2 / -0

BOYCOTT WALMART!!! ( shouldn’t shop there anyway) get woke and go broke, they think they don’t care if they piss off over 80 million people. F.A.F.O.

2
Unapologetic 2 points ago +2 / -0

Make walmart denounce their employees position. Kick their teeth in.

2
Chayabrocha321 2 points ago +2 / -0

Walmart is the modern day plantation! Slave labor and shitty products.

1
morum 1 point ago +1 / -0

pathetic wages where you can work a full time job and still collect welfare and social security, go walmart

1
Boldwithoutthebull 1 point ago +1 / -0

The fact that they only stock cheap products from our enemies and undercut American workers and small businesses is what should put them out of business, this tweet is insignificant.

BUY AMERICAN

Turn the tables on them: https://thedonald.win/p/11RO2rqz1F/walmart-if-you-want-our-business/c/

Then, if they fail to donate to conservative causes, cancel. You wield power, so us it. Money talks.

1
HearTheFalseSong 1 point ago +1 / -0

Of course Walmart wants Biden, he will keep all small businesses shut down until only Walmart is left on the block.

1
WU_HAN_FRU 1 point ago +1 / -0

And he lands two devastating punches while they try to weasel their way out of the fight after sucker punching him.

Glad to see Republicans can shit on Walmart for their obvious predatory practices and not get a bunch of boos from neocons and libertardians about muh, free market. Guys like Hawley are the future and guys like Romney are in the excretable past.
