I have a pantry full of Aldis stuff. Just checked, smoked oysters from China. Tuna from Thailand. Canned soups and vegetables just says "Distributed & Sold Exclusively By Aldi". Same for peanut butter. Jelly says product of Belgium. Coconut oil says Phillipines, Sri Lanka, India, or Vietnam. Probably code word for Chinese owned companies in those countries. Salsa must says Aldis. Canned chicken says Aldis.

They do have tons of stuff imported from Italy. Even cheap risotto in a bag and frozen pizzas. New Zealand frozen lamb legs. Anything that is generally European is most likely from Europe in my experience.

So the only thing I see that for sure is from China is the smoked oysters. Which is a bummer, better I don't trust that shit at all. I'll definitely keep an eye on it from now on.
