I started dooming after weeks of everyone saying that Biden would never ever win the EC (100%! It's happening this Friday! Then This Friday! Then IT'S HAPPENING), followed by him winning the EC.
This gives me a little hope - I'm not determined to doom, but why should I be in party mode as if all is wonderful?
I beg to differ, knowing when to quit is actually a useful skill. Ask any poker player.
Not saying we need to quit yet, especially given the scenes in the Georgia Senate today, but at some point, yes, winners quit games they lose and go win at something else.

Doomers are cowards who don't have the courage to hope. Dooming gives the an excuse to quit and to never begin to fight because the odds.
