You can beg all you want, personally I find such behavior unbecoming. I get it ... You're an "intellectual" and prone to being a bit of a gamma who wants to appeal to sympathy, "safe judgements", and fear ...
Are you the kind of person that gets robbed in a rigged poker game? And when your fren is about to flip the table and lay everything he has on the cheats ... YOU BEG ... "Pls pls, no no let's just go. It's better we just leave and continue letting them rob more frens ... It's the smart move for our selfish interest. Let someone else incur the cost of sorting out the thieves and the crooks! Let's retreat to where we are allowed, until we can convince someone else to incure risk to protect my self-interest."
If so, you are part of the problem.
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams
I think the issue is there's a difference dooming over legal processes vs dooming over the Trump battle itself.
It's patently clear to everyone that IT DOESN'T MATTER what evidence you have when they own the courts and cases are thrown out on procedure and technicalities before they can ever be heard on merit.
We already have video evidence catching them red handed along with confessions by poll workers and still nothing was done. This will not change in the legal system. So when we have all these posts of ITS HAPPENING and THEY'RE BUSTED etc it's all just nonsense. Nothing comes of it because the system is corrupt. We know that now. We should all be dooming over legal avenues.
Because we need to change our attention to violence. The left have shown that fear is all that sows change and spurs people into action. This will only change at the end of a muzzle flash. Period.
I hear you fren. Violence should always be the last resort, but it's always there.
There is a difference between dooming and righteous indignation or even rage. If your a doomer who's lost hope / quit you should relieve yourself and stay quiet or in doomer threads. If you're identifying corruption, try also pushing forward suggesting next moves.
I agree false IT'S HAPPENING click bait are also bad for moral too. But there's a difference to BUSTED because we did bust them, and learned more about the depths of corruption and inaction - that's a gift to us we shouldn't forget.
True. I just think people dont understand that when they put false clickbait stories like ITS HAPPENING or SOMETHING BIG IS COMING and then once again nothing comes of it they are actively CREATING the doomers they are raging against!
Way to try to build an entire argument on an old fashioned polite manner of speech. "Beg to differ" is the exact sort of language that the patriots of 1776 used to use among friends, stop trying to make it a sign of cowardice. That's modernist crap. I am still differing with you even though you don't like it and will continue to do so.
Not sure why you think being polite to other patriots is a sure sign of a wimp. It's just a product of having been brought up right, or of making sure that your kids will be, even if you weren't.
Here's what I think: People should say exactly what they think, and if they don't have much opinion either way, fall on the side of quiet optimism.
They shouldn't deliberately doom in order to cover up their fear or for being right points.
They also shouldn't be under any obligation to spout crap that they don't believe just because you want to keep snorting hopium.
Go on, be a leftist. Tell me I'm a bad person because I say what I believe. Got to control that narrative, if you can silence everyone who disagrees then what you say must be true, right?
EDIT: Samuel Adams to John Adams, 1773:
"But further to show the Sense of the English Crown and Nation that the American Colonists and our Predecessors in particular, when they first took Possession of this Country by a Grant and Charter, from the Crown did not remain subject to the Supreme Authority of Parliament, we beg leave to observe;"
Guess John and Samuel Adams were a bunch of gamma wimp cucks....
That's a lot to write to avoid answering the poker game analogy you asserted ... it was on point, wasn't it?
I get, you're a "conservative" who doesn't want to conserve, especially if that means high risk against the odds. You struggle to put your own opinions and ego aside to conserve the first rule of this site:
"""
OUR RULES
Trump Supporters
This is The Donald. Our community is a high-energy Trump rally. There are no exceptions.
"""
You see anyone at Trump rallies boohoo'ing that Trump's going to loose? You see people moaning that they can share their opinions even if nobody wants to hear it? I have, they get kicked out for good reason. (lol you even down voted me for conserving a rule you think doesn't apply to you so you want to make excuses for others - neoliberal elitism much lol)
I leave you and the other down voting special boys with this; You're not telling me anything I don't know, I to fight despite the odds which I know too well. If you're feeling down don't doomed in others threads (cowardess is more as contagious as courage), start a new thread asking for cheer or do what I do and crank this jam and think of your frens!
PS I specifically used your "old timey," knowing it's historical context, to weave a theme that would mirror the behavior you were advocating. I knew using "your" incorrectly as well would be too much ... lol
You're a star at arguing against the opponents you create, not the ones you meet.
I haven't downvoted you and made you salty, even though you spouted BS about me being a gamma, etc, just because I was polite to other patriots. Someone else must have thought your spiel deserved a downvote. Fine by me, but no big deal.
The poker game analogy was a general one about how sometimes you do have to take a loss and walk away. It was in response to a general rule that winners never quit and quitters never win.
"Winners never quit" is completely wrong. Actually, winners do quit sometimes, even get shafted by others - but they succeed anyway.
This is true in every field, sports, business, etc. Sometimes you have to walk away and fight another day. Let me be very clear because you are going to try to strawman me and say I'm saying to walk away now.
That's in the general case.
Now, let's consider the election and your version of the poker game analogy. It's actually an OK analogy, but you've left out some details.
The casino in question is run by Chinese gangsters. There is still a hand to play and they are cheating, but our stake is already on the table. The correct strategy is: Play the hand and try to catch them red handed. Don't just doom and whine that we've already lost. This is where we are now.
But after that, don't let your friend end up being served up as sweet and sour pork. Use your brain. Walk away rather than attack the bouncers right then and there.
Come back in force, come up with a way to cut their power or water, hack them, come back with the cops, whatever, but be aware that just claiming the moral high ground won't get your money back. You can get up and shout "I WON, YOU ARE CHEATS" or flip that table as much as you like, but the money is gone. All you will achieve is customers getting an extra large pork portion the next day.
As for rule #1, let's just say there is a non-zero chance that Biden does become President. What then? Does rule #1 mean you just sit and buy up all the used "Not My President" tshirts from the leftists and keep shouting WE WON as if it will change reality? Or do you get out, adapt, and fight in whatever way you can? TDW will need to adapt too unless a long shot on Jan 6 somehow materializes.
Personally, I think most of the strategies people are talking about - folding, or going and shooting crap up, are stupid. 1776 was preceded by the Tea Party in 1773. That's where you are now. It's time for disruptive non violent protest while simultaneously working through the political channels that remain.
You truly are an articulate and we'll organized writer. And you enjoy pontificating the hypothetical. I hope you are putting it to productive use IRL.
I see you want to wank on the hypothetical poker game more, moved goal posts from a discussion of individuals actions (the micro) now to individuals vs institutions willing operating outside ROL (macro) ... And you think you'll be able to hide behind a abstracted attacks; that's cute and makes my points.
You might want to reflect a bit. You are eager to tell someone how it is, when you don't actually know. While you also call other people's ideas "stupid" and whine able being characterized as weak. SMH. Nevermind accusing people of "snorting hopium" while talking about 2024 ... Just wow!!! In my experience it's always 1773 for men who are too smart and too scared to fight against the odds.
Bruh don't blame me cause your (see what I did there ;) shouting "the meak shall inherit the earth", "I'm kind not weak", "I'm not dooming I'm playing smart odds" while the real Christian Soldiers having witnessed the last 5 years are kitting up and waiting for the word ...

Good point. Is there a disincentive that can be applied like down voting?
