He destroyed the liberal communist stranglehold on informational talk radio single handedly.

He's been handing out red pills since about 1987 via am radio. He's the Donald Trump of radio.

Well, Rush was the first to play a montage of fake news media repeating the exact same words. And he game me somewhere to go to hear someone saying what I was. Before Rush, I thought i was the one who was crazy.

If there was a quintessential conservative voice over the last generation or so, it might be represented by Rush Limbaugh. He's highly entertaining, if a bit provocative occasionally. sometimes he rubs people the wrong way, but only because they're predisposed to dislike him because they've come from the left and don't actually listen to him and learn. He takes complex inside-baseball political issues and explains things. He is almost always right. He relentlessly mocks the mainstream media and has been for decades.

You have to understand that in the 70s and 80s there were only FOUR news networks that all marched in lockstep with the "narrative" of the day. The media hated Reagan - HATED HIM. Yeah, they give lipservice to him now, just like they do with W. But at the time he was a fascist puke and protests followed him everywhere (sound famililar?). If you supported Reagan you were basically a Nixon supporter and EVIL. It was the era of Jesse jackson's Rainbow Coalition where all the white kids and black kids could come together if it weren't that darn Reagan supporting the KKK. (Oh and did you know Reagan released AIDs to destroy the homosexuals and then floundered the response with that evil Dr. Fauci?)

Then Bush Sr. came along and threw the GOP back to the country club republicans and tried to bury Reaganism.

Around this time is when Rush starts coming in and continuing Reaganism and espousing conservative viewpoints like small government and that feminism is akin to communism.

It was fascinating at the time because the schools still taught "free speech" and being a fresh college student I was eager to give him a listen. The "liberal" and "open" media however promptly went on the attack and tried to get him kicked off the airwaves and, when that failed, started massive slander and boycott campaigns.

He was on AM RADIO! His popularity, even though it was growing, was minor and no more offensive then the stuff you'd see on MTV. But it didn't matter he needed to be destroyed and this was long before the very concept of "hate speech" which is now used to silence only conservative voices. It opened my eyes to a lot of socialist nonsense that's permeated our society and wrapped itself in the sheeps wool of civil rights when they're nothing like that at all.

He pointed out the red ribbon campaign of hollywood was nothing but pure virtue signaling (actors and actresses would prominently wear red ribbons to show how much they supported HIV awareness and how EVIL Reagan and Bush were to gay people). That's when Rush proposed wearing a dollar "ribbon" to promote government spending "awareness".

Rush has been single handedly red pilling a lot of us over the decades - but this year represents a new low for the Democrats and communists and they're not going to like the results.

The nice thing about Limbaugh is he's been a redpill machine for decades now. All you have to do tune into his radio show to be redpilled, but he's now battling cancer. He's not on the radio much anymore. It's too bad, you would have probably liked to listen to him. He has a website, and you can listen to his old shows. Even transcriptions of his old shows are interesting to read and timeless. The guy is a legend and Trump awarded Limbaugh the medal of freedom recently.

Got into Rush when he had his TV show back in the early 90s, and have followed him ever since. He was the ONLY voice at the time. Start watching Fox News in 1998, but that ended this year. You should look into his archives- 30 years of knowledge.

Rush was the first to take on the Democrat/Liberal facade on a nation-wide basis. If you listen to him for a period if time you realize he is waking up your critical thinking skills. Sometimes he's over the top but he is unapologetic about offending the Karen's of the world.

He has beenndoing this for 30 years. Almost single handedly he created conservative talk radio and educated listeners so that, today, we understand that the country as founded is under serious attack from within.

and he was saying this for a long time as a lone voice...

Rush is one of the original conservative voices on talk radio, and by far the most successful. He a gifted communicator, with a wonderful sense of humor, and a dedication to America as it was founded.

He can make the complex understandable, while conveying buoyant optimism even when the situation looks bleak. He is serious when need be, but he is always of good cheer.

In the days when there was no real conservative voice, I remember first hearing him, wondering “Who is this guy? He says what I think!”

Are there any 'special episodes' someone would recommend to go back and watch?

That is, without watching decades of material, how does one play catchup with key Rush?
