Jesus was indeed for giving to the poor. That doesn't mean the State has a right to seize your assets and send them to someone else. If anything, the welfare state limits your ability to practice genuine charity by taxing assets that could instead be given freely to those truly in need (e.g., Kyle Rittenhouse).
"Judge not" is half a sentence of what Jesus said, taken out of context. The full paragraph is a condemnation of hypocrisy. Jesus himself is the ultimate judge, and who knows how he will rule on the end? Perhaps some of those hateful Leftists will repent before it's too late.
