I have a feeling the FBI is composed of 2 parts: the real deep swampy part with hidden agenda doing tons behind the scenes, and a second dopey part with incompetent jerkovs with inflated egos taking on easy shit like this to make it seem like fbi is actually an organization not needing to be shattered and scattered into the winds.
