Please visit but don’t move to Florida. Much of the state has become way too overcrowded with insufficient infrastructure and poor planning on the part of county and local governments. They’ve allowed a major population explosion over the past couple of decades and it just keeps getting worse with seemingly unlimited housing development without the roads, highways, schools, retail, and service industries to support the growing population. Traffic is a nightmare and keeps getting worse. Our town’s population has doubled in a decade and it takes twice as long to get anywhere as it did even 5 years ago.
