The truth is the US has had no more deaths this year and any other recent year and people who died this year died from the same shit they used to die from before covid existed.

Even if we did/do have a slight uptick in deaths this year compared to previous, that number is always changing. We have averages. There are a billion and one different things which can influence the number of deaths. I believe we're starting to see the beginnings of the boomers dying off, which could/should/would make our death rates look a bit higher for a few years.
