When our country was in it's infancy, the majority of what are now states were in the North east and so it made sense that our capital was located where it was. However, it doesn't duly serve the people in it's current location. I believe it should be moved to the middle of our country, the middle of the contiguous states. Perhaps somewhere in Kansas or Nebraska. That way, no American citizen who wants to visit their capital has to travel across the entire continent to do so. I know it would cost a fortune, but so what - it's important and a ton of people would be employed by the project. Besides, when we force our idiotic 'representatives' to stop sending billions of our tax dollars to countries that hate us, we'll have plenty of money for the project. Who agrees? This would be an AWESOME undertaking for Potus' second term.

Fun fact the “second capital” is already constructed in and around Denver if it ever needed to be relocated. DIA (Denver International Air Port) and surrounding Military bases and additional infrastructure already in place. Also reason for location of space force. 😉
I was just going to say this. Plus soooo much more.
I've heard a little about this. Do you know of any good resources where I could learn more?
So it’s not really very accessible knowledge. But start by sourcing the underground design of the airport grounds itself if you can. Know that 50+ feet below the surface there is a constructed underground lake in excess of 10 acres and 35 feet deep. If you compare the “area” of the actual Air Port grounds it dwarfs all other Air Ports in the country. The reason for the immense lake is multiple, currently it acts to cool the existing air port but can also be used to cool servers and serve as the needed water source for drinking. Also under the Airport there are many layers tunnels and bunkers. But to be honest I have never tried to google or use any search on it. The construction plans are probably located next to Nancy P’s morale compass
Why do our elected servants need to travel to DC? Keep them home in their district with the people they represent. Do the same for state legislators. We have the technology...let's use it to keep em home. https://ourfirstright.org/
Yes. all that nonsense about how they couldn't meet because of covid. Well then, they don't need to 'meet' in person at all. That's what technology is for.
I say make it decentralized. Have the congress Senate House meet in a different state every year. That way people can actually see the process at work and it would be an event.
Yeah, I remember. But wouldn't it be great if all Americans could access their capital as easily as reasonable? Move some -- move it all. DC is so full of evil, it would be great to break it down and rebuild the capital for the PEOPLE, elsewhere.
You'd have to take land from a State and make another exclusion zone. D.C. is supposed to be a safe harbor from states controlling the federal Government. This is why the Stupid Democrats trying to make D.C. a State are just that fucking retarded or just don't care the hell it will bring giving a place holding all branches of the federal Government then using 10A States Rights on top of all the might they already wield. Our founding fathers had a pretty intense fight over using either Richmond or New York as our national capital before Washington sold land to the Government for a nice profit and made D.C
I like South Dakota under the watchful eyes of Rushmore.
I dont want those fucks anywhere near my state
The North American point of inaccessibility is about an hour east of Rapid City SD.
Make the whole of DC a national park.
History, shmistory. WE are history and our current Potus is making it even as we speak. Accessibility means ACCOUNTABILITY in my opinion. If more pedes could stride into the halls of congress and lay down the law to their representatives, we might get someplace.
Yeah, I forgot about NY. New Holland, I think it was back in the day. At any rate, it's current location makes it difficult for many millions of Americans to visit.
