When our country was in it's infancy, the majority of what are now states were in the North east and so it made sense that our capital was located where it was. However, it doesn't duly serve the people in it's current location. I believe it should be moved to the middle of our country, the middle of the contiguous states. Perhaps somewhere in Kansas or Nebraska. That way, no American citizen who wants to visit their capital has to travel across the entire continent to do so. I know it would cost a fortune, but so what - it's important and a ton of people would be employed by the project. Besides, when we force our idiotic 'representatives' to stop sending billions of our tax dollars to countries that hate us, we'll have plenty of money for the project. Who agrees? This would be an AWESOME undertaking for Potus' second term.

Fun fact the “second capital” is already constructed in and around Denver if it ever needed to be relocated. DIA (Denver International Air Port) and surrounding Military bases and additional infrastructure already in place. Also reason for location of space force. 😉
I was just going to say this. Plus soooo much more.
