If I devoted the time necessary to determine every corporate entity whose products I need to boycott, I'd get little else done and would have almost no source of supply. It doesn't seem like it would add to my happiness.
I get ya. I think the key is to not give some of these creeps any more money than necessary. In some cases, monopolies are a thing that you can't really fight back against.
As an example, I can't fully boycott Amazon because I've got a large kindle collection and I have run out of places to put bookshelves. (I force them to provide me with many conservative books...) And etsy is annoying because it's a really good place to find american-made items so long as you're careful, but they have been banning conservatives as well.
I stay far away from google, facebook, twitter, etc. and spend absolutely no money through them.
On a random note, I just realized the My Pillow guys make throw pillows.
I run an ecommerce company. A lot of us smaller family businesses have way more expertise and treat customers way better than these monster corporations. We have better quality, longer warranties and can actually answer questions. I had assumed the huge companies were better before, it's actually often the opposite, the big boys are always thinking about planned obsolescence and other tactics to sell you more cheap crap.
Listen, sincerely, good on you and your peers, but when a person wants to search a whole lot of products in a category and research choices, Amazon is king. And many small businesses use Amazon to reach more customers so it’s not as simple as giant vs little guy. And as for logistics, some items now arrive the same day from Amazon. They have a convenient and honest return policy. You take the item to the nearest UPS store and the print the label and handle it. You’re either out nothing or the cost to ship back depending on the item. In this crazy lockdown some retailers won’t take returns (had this happen at Home Depot) or it’s an absurd line with an understandably impatient clerk at the end.
Give the devil his due, Amazon has transformed retail and some is for the best. They have also innovated well with the Kindle, Alexa, and many of their in house brand items.
Manufacturer websites help a lot. Like let's say I want some coffee syrups. Instead of going to amazon, I just go straight to Torani's website and just buy 'em there. It's more work to do it that way, but it works.
Just bought some couch cushions on mypillow just now.
Same here. For groceries, it's one of three corporations, Walmart, Safeway, and Lucky's. Politically, they are all shit. Unless I switch to a purely Indian or Asian diet, there are zero options. Sure, I might be able to buy veggies and maybe meat somewhere, but the rest of it, forget it! Lets not forget that the food manufacturers/distributers are typically shit-tier politically as well. I can easily avoid certain brands, but beyond that, I'm kind of SOL unless I want to add another hour or more to my 1.5 hour commute(I do not).
Besides, unless a huge portion of consumers stop spending their pesos at given store, it won't matter anyways, sadly. Unless/until Walmart sees a 30% or higher drop in business, they won't give a damn, or even really notice it.
Nope, it's lazy. Ditch the excuses. You're directly funding the enemy and you HAVE options. This isn't the middle of the Sahara desert. Walmart isn't your only fucking option.

link so we can buy from them.
Sadly he probably risks doxing himself.
Good grief the world we live in!

So where do you shop instead? I need new leads!
Regular grocery stores, newegg, manufacturer websites...

I hear you. But often when you click on the manufacturer's "online store" link it goes to their Amazon store.
Worse yet is that these companies are more likely than not using AWS as their backend, so you're still supporting Amazon.

Oh, I dunno. They may have pissed off enough people in public this time to actually make a difference. 😏
That's why the left keeps winning. Stop being lazy.
It's not lazy to maintain a source of supply for my family, Superman. Maybe descend slowly from that high horse lest you get dizzy.
