But if everything hits the fan and you buds need a second wave of support, I can come on that Saturday with supplies.

What should I bring (if able to get through the blockades, if there are any)?

Water bottles, canned food, fire wood, blankets, guillotine sharpeners, fresh rope?

No guarantees, as I've never traveled more than 50 miles out of my town by car all alone :P

I'm a sheltered millennial that hasn't traveled at all who still lives at home with his parents, has an ailing family I support that would be devastated financially and emotionally if anything were to happen to me, I have H1N1 vaccine induced narcolepsy with mild cataplexy (nostalgiac feelings makes my legs buckle and I faceplant, fun), and I've only shot a gun once in my lifetime.

True, I also have work, no time off left, and if they find out I took off to be in DC on the 6th they might lay me off again and I can't pay for my $10,000 a month narcolepsy medicine since my insurance goes bye bye.

That I'm offering to come on that Saturday to drop off supplies is the best I can do, and I'm damn serious about that, so don't give me any grief when others who are more fortunate than I are planning to skimp off completely.

Ahh I have mixed emotions, fuck anyone not there, but you have a half ass excuse, except you are really just not wanting to miss work.
