I'm looking at getting a house possibly within the next month or so. I have found one and I'm hoping we get it, about to put it some good ol' OT at work to make sure I have a down payment so me and my lady have a house of our own. She's disabled so I am the one having to take care of most of it. It's stressful, but this is what makes a man I was taught! Taking care of his family.

Yay! It is stressful. But you can do it. I bought a house in 2007 as a single widow. It's been hard sometimes. I'm not handy at all and money is tight. But it will be yours and your lady's as you take care of your family. God bless!
Buying a house next month. Few acres, 30 minutes outside of the city, and a mortgage that's cheaper than the cheapest 1br anything around me.
It's a huge step in anybody's life. Congrats!!!
