Sorry OP, but I can't advocate doing this to food, because it most likely won't be thrown out. Yes F Walmart & China, but not by spoiling food that someone may end up eating and getting sick.
That stuff will either be donated to food banks or employees will take it home, then when people get sick it will create even more Covid hysteria.
The better way is to walk into Walmart and shop until they kick you out for not wearing a mask.
I filled up an entire cart without a mask, then they told me I needed a mask to checkout, so I left $200 worth of perishable items at the register and walked out.
I was fully intending to pay but the gestapo would not let me.
Uh yes they did... maybe in your state they don't care, but in my state they check at the door, and sometimes employees ask you.
I was in self-checkout scanning my items and a Walmart manager came up to me and told me I needed a mask to checkout and I said No. Then he told me if I did not have a mask I would not be able to checkout. So I asked him if he really wanted me to leave all these items and not pay for them? He didn't know what to say, so I just started to walk out to see if he would stop me and let me finish checking out, but he didn't so I just left.
not cool bro.
Yes, get revenge on Walmart, but don't spoil perfectly good food.
The workers there are not the problem. They're already getting underpaid as is... Don't make them do extra shit and possibly get them fired if they put spoiled products back on the shelf.
This just pushes more poor people that need the job into losing those jobs and possibly hating the people bragging about doing this...
The company is the problem, Not the minimum wage workers. They're the ones that need help the most; or else they wouldn't have taken the shitty job in the first place.
Perishables are thrown out as safety policy. No way to know how long it's been pushed around in a cart. Spoilage loss comes out of employee's ' MyShare' bonuses.
So what you're saying is that doing this doesn't impact the company at all and only affects the workers?
Or are the employees that get the bonuses the higher ups; because i highly doubt that...?
If you are right and it's GUARANTEED that the perishables will not be restocked and that the higher ups will be the people most impacted by this then i do not see a problem with this. But i doubt the higher ups would take a pay cut instead of pushing the pay-cut down to the floor employees.
I still have a problem with throwing out food but i do know that most of these companies do that already; so i wouldn't get too worked up about it.
I'm sure it does eventually affect the upline management, but the cashiers/greeters/stockers are the first ones that are impacted, and in the most direct way. If their store's performance rates high enough across various metrics to earn a bonus, up to $300.00 quarterly or every six months, IIRC. Why shit on them?
If we want to hurt Walmarx, start leaving union and organizing flyers around a store. Store management has a dedicated hotline to report unionization activities, and if a store is found to have an excess of 'union' talk, it mysteriously develops plumbing issues, and has to close. Those workers are at least eligible for unemployment insurance.
I'm not particularly worked up about Walmart employees, but why do something that really only impacts the lowest level employee by making more work for them, or taking a happymeal out of their kiddo's mouths?
You realize Chinese Controlled Big Tech AI wants to
(and is) fucking killing us ?
we're barreling towards Escape from New York/Soylent Green level chaos and you're worried about people getting stale cheese ? Or menial saving jobs on the fucking death star ?
if you still patronize Walmart of Amazon at this point you deserved spoiled and damaged product.
Why punish unaware Americans to get your point across and potentially causing them to hate you for it?
I'm saying a better thing to do would be to either just stop buying their shit or put up signs in front of Walmarts to keep people from buying there and changing their minds.
It's better to show people the facts and make them aware instead of making enemies from their customers. We do not need to make more enemies inside America...
everyone knows the shit is from china, everyone knows they don't follow safety practices, everyone knows they target community retailers, and supplers for destruction and replacement
It's a corporate death star
at some point shopping there says you don't care either and you deserve what you get. I'm not officially endorsing any behavior.
it's not like it's the only discount store in the world. You won't starve. Not do you need any plastic shit they sell.
our opponents have stated openly they want us "removed from society" imprisoned and worse.
Sounds to me like you're making a similar mistake as the "woke" people by assuming that everyone either knows or that everyone cares about it.
Not everyone cares right now, and not everyone knows.
We need to spread awareness.
Most people that vote "Democrat" are called low information voters for a reason...
I'm not saying that i wouldn'tt love to see all products sold in America say "Made in USA" but spoiling food and putting people in danger is not the right way to do this.
Capitalism is based on "are people willing to buy this" and our job is to make people aware that it isn't.
Everyone hated the whole ice-cream thing that idiots were doing in stores... only difference here is that instead of saliva you're using bacteria in the air and time to get the same effect. Don't make Americans hate us. Teach them to fight with us.
Good. Lots of ways to screw up Walmart and run them out of town. This is absolutely one. They already run on a tight staff. Restocking is a major expense and adds up. Nothing they can do about it either. We could destroy WalMart so easily. There whole system is set up to consume loss. Incline that loss to where it's no longer profitable and the loss is non recoverable.
So many comments are confused about the impact. The "worker" who restocks is not harmed, it is just more job security. The employees have to do something, maybe mopping up or unloading the next truck - they are being paid no matter which task they get.
The ONLY impact (beyond the waste of food, don't use FOOD) is an increase in LABOR COST on the bottom line.
It may even cause an increase in HOURS worked, more HIRES.

And that is a loser argument. Not surprising.
LOL nerd

Find another way to make them lose money!

Asshole move. Walmart doesn't care about this. You would just be pissing off the employees who did nothing wrong.
"Just following orders"
fill them take to other side of store and leave
I go to Walmart to rent stuff for the weekend every once in a while. Free as long as you can cover the price till you take it back
I remember a period of time in the 80s when you didn't even need a receipt...it became almost as corrupt as our government.
Within 90 days. Read their return policy
My friend did that at a cottage many years ago, bought a couple fans and then returned them same weekend.
Haven't ordered from Walmart since the day I received a lengthy BLM virtue signalling Email from them.
👍 Your braver than me. I haven't stepped foot into a Walmart for years.
Noice

I'm a BIG fan of revenge, especially the petty kind. But doing this just hurts the average American trying to get by on a shitty hourly wage.
Think corporate.
It doesn't decrease unemployment. It increases employment.

This is the way.
Is this civil disobedience? Don’t care. Fight anyway cans pedes.

Tip it over and leave it, too.
Yes sir i would like 400 dollars worth of steaks plz.... whoops gotta run family emergency
Please don't, even if you hate Walmart wasting food is shameful.
Someone has never worked at a fast food place at closing time.
Needs more meat
WALMART NEEDS TO BE LOOTED FOR JAN 6 SUPPLIES
Whoops
Wasting food isn’t cool. Better yet just don’t go.

No.
i heard people get hurt in revolutions, their feelings too
Oh no! You mean Walmart will get sued for poisoning people as well!
Don't do it!
Great idea, but better idea is to not enter a Walmart at all.
Don’t punish the poor people who work there, if you want to hurt the bad execs you stop shopping there
So fuck over a poor min wage kid?
The poor min wage kid has to work x hours whether he sweeps the floor or restocks shelves. Does not hurt the worker one bit.
