I worked for Wal-Mart for 6 months. Never missed a shift, always on time. And always did my job with no reprimands. When they decided to only give me a 3% raise when they did my review. I knew what type of company they were. And left my Dept. with pallets still out on floor. walked out of the store and never came back. Worst company I have ever worked for. I don't see how people work they for those wages.

TBH 3% raise is the goin rate at most large corps. Just enough to keep up with inflation, so its merely phycological. You can bust your ass and save the company a million bucks, and they will generously reward you with a 3% raise and convince you to work harder. Its all total BS!

That’s why we must become yet again a nation of fully-tooled millions upon millions of small businesses. It will be glorious!

A small business cannot make a cell phone, or a TV panel at competitive prices. Small business cannot run telecom. Economies of scale will always consolidate manufacturing and diseconomies of scale will always put innovation in the hands of small business.

Of course, there is the moving target of defining what is "small" business. Focus on keeping the supply chain majority domestic and it'll come together. If it's not too late with $30T in debt.
