Yeah, I had no faith or trust in SCOTUS upholding the constitution, but I was sure they'd at least rule in self-interest. I never imagined they'd rule to undermine their own authority, by tacitly saying that it was fine to defy the order and doing so to carry water for, and cover up the usurpation and crimes of a candidate and a party that was openly bragging about wanting to pack the court, and thereby diffuse all of the existing justices' power into irrelevance. I probably should have seen that they'd fuck us all by technically washing their hands of it all, while actually putting their thumb decidedly on the scale held by that poor blindfolded woman. But I really didn't see it.
