It’s definitely that. Never admit wrongdoing but it’s also a psychological ploy to depersonalize ourselves and neighbors. So much of communication is body language and facial expressions. Masks also make it difficult to speak at length or even in close proximity to someone. They have too much to gain from the hysteria. They ain’t lettin it go.
