as an engineer in medical. it does not take that much money at all to design this. Sure V&V will take awhile but theres already a lot of background on cancer detecting imaging diagnostics. I;m assuming this isnt that projects only funding, but it is absolute money laundering.
EDIT: should note I've done medical device prototypes and finished devices for big corps and startups for 12+ years. I've done far more complicated devices...
