It was also rumored he had undocumented weapons and was a white supremacist, and not long after, the Feds showed up at his door. It ended in a shootout, and the father was arrested.
Operation Northwoods was when the government wanted to start a war against Cuba during the Cold War, so they planned on committing terrorist-esque acts on American Citizens and then blame it on Cuba so they could go to war.
Scariest part is who's to say they haven't done any of those things since JFK'S assassination. I don't want to live in the land of constant fantasy but a lot of things don't add up in history.
