They’re saying this because they opened on Christmas. If you call Christmas Day opening day then yes their ratings are up, if you compare Christmas Day to Christmas Day year over year ratings are way down.

I agree their Christmas ratings are down. Christmas was also opening day this year. When they say their opening day ratings are up they are using Christmas 2020 as opening day for 2020. That’s why they are saying their ratings are up.
