Did the pilot of the private jet self-quarantine after the trip?

Factoring out the 85% of covid deaths that were actually deaths ‘with’ covid, not deaths ‘from’ covid, is 82 deaths in Travis County.

That leaves a chance of dying ‘from’ covid in the 0.006316% range.

You are 4,348 times more likely to die in a car accident.

Lol except you don’t have anything approaching a .92% chance of dying in a car accident. 1 person in 100 dies in a year from car accidents? No

To simplify for those who can’t follow:

You are 4,348 times more likely to die in a car accident.

You are 4,348 times more likely to die in a car accident than die from covid.

That's a lifetime risk approximation. It's being used here as a yearly risk which is inappropriate. I do not have data on an annual risk but if we guess at 1/75(life expectancy 75ish) of .92% you get near .01%.

yes, but if you want the sheep to think for once, you need to include "all" advertised deaths.

Dry well. We can start with that and demonstrate how it just gets worse from there.

Comparing year to day isn't really valid.

Number is much bigger.

You might have far less chance of doing in car crash. Back of envelope approximation: 350 M ppl in USA, 35 K car fatality per year, 1 / 10,000 population dies per year in car crash. 0.01% chance. So Covid in Traviscity = 4x worse than car crashes. Approximation. But old age kills about 1.4% of population per year, so...covid is << worse than life.
