Even during the darkest days of the past few weeks, remembering the revival of certain death penalty techniques has continued to give me hope.

I'm not a big supporter of the death penalty - there are strong arguments on both sides and I don't really care which is right - but the change must have been made for a reason, and PDT didn't make the change to allow himself to be executed by firing squad.

I want a no muss, no fuss assembly line of executions mandated live, televised on every cable and OTA station in the country.

This is my vision:

-10 Gallows built with 5 hanging stations each.

-"Bring out the dead" and line them up 50 at a time.

-Announce their names and their crimes one at a time.

-After the Crier's annunciation of offenses, he cries loudly; "Hang Him/Her!" Then, moves to the next one.

• This happens on down the line. Once a traitor is hung and dead, they're unhooked and incinerated.

-In the mean time, another traitor is hooked up in their place.

• When they're all killed and incinerated, a national monument should be made to warn the future about communism. A plaque should list all the traitor's names and their positions (if any). The grounds of the monument should be ugly, barren and preferably bubbling with a toxic cocktail of acids and steam. You know, what communism leaves in its wake with a narration explaining this point.
