Everybody already knew this. The Leg was going forward with a constitutional amendment to make this legit and then they stopped for some reason.

They didn't stop. The legislature and governor knew that this was unconstitutional, so they jammed in some BS "if there is no objection within..." bullshit, knowing that the libtard courts would cover for them.

The point is, retweeting "strongly worded letters" and other PR nonsense is nothing by lies and a waste of time. The naive think that "Well, "Based" Doug is stepping up so I can just keep tweeting my life away and forget about everything" and the same bullshit that keeps lying frauds like this in office (aside from fraud) perpetuates itself.

This is simple. We are in this situation because Mastriano and all the rest not only refuse to do their jobs, they actively work to delegate their responsibilities elsewhere so that they can claim things are not their fault.

Yes that why I said they were proceeding with a constitutional amendment. They stopped probably because of logistics and hopes nobody would care. A constitutional amendment is a down ballot vote.

This doesn't mean Doug isn't on our side. He voted for the bill originally with the knowledge that an amendment would be required to make it binding. The Leg or SOS or somebody didn't follow up.

The obvious assumption by most lawmakers is that the elected officials would be working for the best interests of the people. The Leg had no reason to believe this would be used to steal an election.

Yes it's their fault to some degree, so they have the opportunity to fix it. We shall see.

Respectfully, we have seen.

Mastriano voted for shit, repeatedly, that does nothing but undermine voting integrity and taken no meaningful action on any of his pretty yet contradictory words.

Let's make this simple- I defy anyone to read the text of Act 77 and justify anyone supporting it. Forget the muddled PR mess that everyone is spinning now. There is absolutely zero reason for anyone to vote in favor of that bill unless they support undermining voting integrity.

Look it does appear to be a good idea. Under the assumption the system is honest mail in voting should work. Obviously it doesn't.

The act is no overtly bad. I wouldn't have voted for it, but I can understand why some might.

Plus the mechanism of the vote in PA is not the problem. The problem is that nobody will let the votes be audited. If we audit the votes it's over.

So what lawful remedy besides Twitter do you think Mastriano should take? He has been trying to get a special session. What else can he do?

Plus if Twitter shit means you aren't really on the side of the people, what does that say about Trump? Why aren't the feds confiscating the votes or voting machines?

I believe Trump is on our side despite the lack of action thus far, just as I believe Mastriano is on our side.
