A lot of shit was added AFTER they voted

If a bill changes, it gets voted on again.

And these fuckers kept voting for it.

Again, the technicalities don't matter. This is simple. The legislatures (including Mastriano, who supported this shit) have been actively passing the buck to avoid any responsibility for a very long time. No amount of PR, Youtube speeches, and bullshit strongly worded letters mean a damn thing when they actively vote for this shit.

Act77 specifically cuts off the acceptance of ballots at 8pm on election night. The governor extended it to November 8th and the PA Supreme Court okayed it without the approval of the legislature

Respectfully, this misses the forest for the trees.

Additional orders and other such nonsense beyond the original Act are icing on the poised cake.

The Act 77 cake was poison to begin with and accomplished nothing but to dramatically expand and codify fraud. Here’s another exercise: Show me anything in Act 77 that is not denounced as evidence of and conducive to fraud in other countries by our our State Department and numerous other findings and documents going back decades.

Okay, well, that’s not how I understand it. I read that the governor and Secretary of State unilaterally added provisions without the consent of the legislature. I will research and get back. But Mastriano seems to be working with Trump so I guess we’ll know soon.

This has all turned into a PR mess, endless spin, and passing the buck.

I appreciate your looking into it and, if you find different info, I am more than willing to hear it.

That said, Schoolhouse Rocks 101 is pretty straightforward- governors (and Presidents) have zero authority over legislation, other than signing or vetoing. Alas, the Legislative coequal branch of government exists. “I’m just a bill...”.

I don’t care who anyone pays lip service to or who’s coattails they ride. They have direct responsibilities and actions that are 100% in their control. They are either acting on those responsibilities or not. Trump, of all people, has no shortage of “friends” when the “friends” perceive personal benefits. As much as I like about Trump, he is singularly bad at distinguishing between “friends” and friends, and has been for a very, very long time.
