At the risk of sounding ignorant here, I just want a brief rundown of what really needs to happen on that day. I've heard so many different things. House and Senate members need to object to trigger a debate, but what happens after that? And where would Pence need to come into the picture if he's going to pick the votes of the alternate electors? 1.To have the debate, the house in question has to vote to have it. So, we might not even get our two hours.
2.After any debate, the VP can only choose from certified electors. This year, each state sent only one certified set. The “alternates” are not certified and have no legal standing.
So, it must be something else.
What needs to happen is that you refrain from insisting on knowing the 'path to victory'. If nothing happens between now and Jan 20, then Kamala Harris will be President of the United States.
Therefore, something is going to happen. Because there is no way my President is going to allow corrupt criminals to hold the highest office in the land.
Before the election, everybody knew that this was not going to be Trump Vs. Biden. It was going to be Trump vs. Election Fraud.
Our President chose to do nothing. Anybody who is paying attention knows where the peak fraud happens. Detroit, Philly, Atlanta, etc. He didn't warn poll workers that they would be sent to prison if they helped cheat. He didn't do anything to prevent 3AM deliveries of illegal ballots. He didn't have the NSA watching every byte that went in and out of these polling locations. (Or did he?)
And now he is going to just sit there and hope that Rudy Giuliani can save us with a patchwork of lawsuits?
No. My President is not a buffoon.
He will make his move. And he will win. Probably not in any of the ways you are looking at.
