Nope, Kroger doesn't own Aldi, Aldi is actually an independent German grocery chain :-).

Kroger does own a crapton of other grocery chains though. Kroger also is getting woke. Here in AZ the Kroger chain is Fry's grocery.

I would rather buy from an honest German company that is not woke than a commie U.S. company regardless.

Aldi, so far, is not woke.

Realistically the vast majority of large corporations have been infiltrated by the left, as communism needs capitalism to fund their growth. So I keep an eye on who they donate to. Once they start donating to woke shit they begin moving down the supply list in my house. And eventually drop off when they are replaced by companies that are either more balanced or not woke at all.

Main street is always the first choice when you can find main street stores.

Go to garage sales and thrift stores lots of old tools and household items, gift ideas, well made sturdy vintage made in America items, many new clothing items, cleaning products, books,...etc...
