I'm sadly not doing anything for this new year's so I'm bored at home, so I thought my best option to lighten the mood a bit was to spark some conversation with fellow red-pilled individuals. Since I'm feeling quite lonely at the moment, I'd love to talk to some of you about anything!

In my case, I guess it was seeing that everything I love and stand by with all my heart be ruined by the left (I'm talking civil rights and the free market) that made me feel that the left is not exactly a good option. After that, when I became aware of how they're pushing gender theory, how everything was branded hate speech or "white supremacy", how they support all kinds of abominable practices made me a conservative. Still, I'd say I was 90% sure still. However, when the scamdemic came, I became 1001% redpilled. I never thought leftism would come so hard in my country (Romania) and that was the moment I realized leftism is the biggest threat to personal freedom (or all kinds of freedom for that matter).

It actually made my relationship with my family better, because earlier I'd dismiss all claims my father would make (he's a conservative, too) but I slowly realize it was al ltrue. He told me about what kind of fuckery the left would throw at us with the scamdemic a while before it actually happened, but I still had a tiny bit of skepticism left in me. When I saw everything come true, step by step, I had a "holy shit, conservatives were actually right all along" moment. Not that I didn't believe it, but I still had my dose of skepticism because my political views were not yet cemented. Now they are and I can say I'm a proud 20 year old conservative.

So...how about you? What was the decisive moment for you? Were you young when it happened or did it happen later in life?

Red pill for me came with Sandy Hook...I still do not buy that load of horse shit. I don't claim to know what happened, but I know it didn't go down like they say it did. Major wake up for me.

I'm not familiar with all US events, but I've looked it up and it looks...harsh. I'll have to look into it and find out more. Still, what is the "wrong" part about it? Maybe it can give me a lead on what to search for.

Start here...not all of it makes sense or can be determined factually as they have blocked most research.

From there it was actually doing research on stuff I previously had heard and thought was conspiracy theory...Jeckel Island/The Fed,, JFK/CIA, Gulf of Tonkin, Operation Northwoods...it took me a while to accept it all.

I've been conservative my whole life. But it wasn't until I went to war in Iraq that my eyes opened up further.

I grew up listening to Rush on long road trips with my dad so I've always been conservative. I become fully red pilled to the true evil that government is about ten years ago after getting put through the court system. I'm an ancap now and it warms my heart to see how this "pandemic" has red pilled so many conservatives to the reality of how unscrupulous and spineless cops actually are.

if you don't mind me asking, what is Rush? Also, some members of my family have actually been red-pilled the same way. I think the court system (and it applies very well here in Romania, too) is one of the biggest producers of conservatives and hatred towards the govt.

Rush Limbaugh - he's the #1 conservative talk show host in the US. https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/

Okay, I've actually been searching for conservative YT channels/talk shows/whatever lately so this comes at the best possible moment. Thanks a lot!

You're quite welcome, Romanian pede! Rush is the original (and still best!) - unfortunately, he will probably pass away soon, as he has Stage 4 cancer. GEOTUS awarded him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in February, and I have to admit I teared up a bit. He will certainly be missed.

Stephan Molyneax is a good guy to look up if you're interested in the philosophy of right and wrong and developing strong arguments against the evils of government.

Psychedelic drugs actually. Made me question everything. Then from there, the final nail in the coffin was reading about and hearing stories about the communists in eastern Europe and the Russian revolution and the Holodomor, pol pot and the great leap forward

Well, we know better than anyone that once communism sets in...it takes blood to remove it.

Communism is a cancer upon humanity. As is Islam

Lifelong GOP voter. Embarrassed to admit I voted for the Bushes.

When McCain ran for Pres I dropped out of politics. Didn't vote that year.

When the Podesta Emails showed up on Wikileaks I was blown away. Within weeks I was a full-blown conspiracy theorist. It was so much worse than I ever imagined.

I watched the Debate right after the pussy tape was released. Trump should have been humbled and apologetic.

HELL NO. Instead he ripped Hillary to shreds. I was an instant fan. No fucks given. I've grown to love my President more and more since then.

That no fucks given attitude when being accused of all kinds of bullshit by the left is what makes him absolutely amazing, not gonna lie.

I never really paid attention to politics until Hussein Obama said he wanted to skyrocket energy prices. That opened my eyes to all of his bullshit, and it snowballed from there. Now I see the Deepstate's deception everywhere I look.

Yeah, in retrospective (was too young back then) I think Obama getting elected for 2 terms was a really bad thing for the US.
