Senate re-elects every 6 years. 1/3 of the senate is up for re-election every 2 years.
The entirety of the house goes for re-election every 2.
I’d guess that it’s because right now, we’re not sure who the next house minority leader will be, so the Republicans are pretty free to vote their conscience.
McConnel on the other hand just got re-elected, and will be leading the senate GOP for the next 6 years. The senate republicans have to either decide to go to war with their “boss” (who is actually very shrewd, and a force to be reckoned with in the senate, but he’s still a faggot), or tow the line, keep the funnel of campaign contributions thanks to Mitch, and get powerful committee positions to then immediately sell their votes on the committee as well.
The Senate is a boys club for the corrupt and useless. Getting good Senators like Hawley and Blackburn elected is rare, typically those spots are reserved for those who have proven they're willing to sell the country out.
Take a look at a list of Senators, if you don't recognize a name, odds are they're keeping their heads down to keep the money flowing.
Does it even matter how many they have if it isn't a majority? If the number isn't the majority of the house, it seems to make no difference because for objections you only need 1 rep. And for throwing out the slate of electors you need a majority.
141, I am a Republican in my House, does it count as House Republican?
Lol
Only in DIS HOUSE!
I hope so.
We have the momentum
Coincidence that more R’s are turning as rumor spreads of Epstein being alive?
I want names. Otherwise its good as Clintons landslide claim in 2016. Its cnn.
How many are there that are Republicans. Also so far in the Senate, 1 or 2?
Because Senate members are not fresh and new and energetic. They have been sitting stagnant in a comfortable spot for too long.
They've been feasting too long at the all you can eat K street buffet
Term limits
No, they do every 6 years. But the reason you see some Senate seats up every 2 years is because they stagger 1/3 of the Senate every 2 years.
The average age in the Senate is 70 for a reason... They've held their seats for decades

because saying so ahead of time can get you shot like Rand
Fingers crossed for good luck that this happens and prayers that the Congressmen have the backbone to do what is right.
Watching our Senator's to make sure they do so as well. If not - no more paying their way to be there - will need new ones elected!!
When you email your Senators, remind them of what happened to Jeff Flake and Bob Corker's careers.
That number should be 200+++ ... all House Republicans and all the Republican Senators....
Or Careers Done... Over... FIN!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
If they want to keep their cushy government jobs, they are going to have to object.
I will believe it when I see confirmation.
Now do the senate!
Rookie numbers.
Couldn't Nancy just brush it off? Still confused at how this house stuff works.
Believe it when I see it, fucking snakes
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!
