I do not understand why people think this is a threat to these guys. If he stabs Trump in the back he will be granted multi million dollar positions of power elsewhere where he will do as much work as Hunter Biden.

Oh no, I will not be in politics any longer. BIG FUCKING DEAL. They put someone else in office.

This guy gets it.

Losing your job is devastating to regular Americans, but for politicians it just means they don't have to pretend to love America anymore as they walk into greater riches elsewhere.

He should probably go into hiding if decides to be a traitor

5
Dessert4TWO69 5 points ago +5 / -0

Might have been his travel plans. Then Trump cornered him and made him understand how precarious things are going to be, and that he will not make it out of the country regardless of his actions.

If Trump doesn't serve a 2nd term you don't think he knows his political career is over? Of course, he does.

Surely this, and the OP title, go without saying.

The vast majority of Republicans should go bye bye. But we'll get another "vote downballot red to save the country" next election season.

Holy shit. Do y'all ever tire of the FUD?

-2
taaaaahm [S] -2 points ago +7 / -9

Apparently Pence just asked the judge to throw out the lawsuit from Gohmert. Some of us are monitoring reality and like to comment on it.

11
CyrusKingOfAnshan 11 points ago +13 / -2

What you're doing isn't commenting on reality it's enhancing the betrayal narrative.

There's nothing constructive about this.

No he should be led outside and hung in the public square.

^ This. If Pence betrays Trump people will be calling for his head. He'll be another Brian Kemp. If you can do something, but do nothing...you're just the same as the traitorous scum trying to steal the election.

spezisacuckold 4 points ago +4 / -0

If Pence betrays Trump, he should honesty be scared for his life. Not condoning any violence, just can see it’s obvious what would likely happen.

If he goes down that road, Pence will be well compensated for his treachery

3

haha, "office"

3
RahkeemTheMachine 3 points ago +4 / -1

I’m really disturbed how many people think pence can just toss a certified slate of electors because he feels like it. It’s not even close to working that way

^ THIS

I mean, just think for a second... Wouldn't there be one giant fucking conflict of interest if a sitting Vice President held a certain "veto power" over his own person being voted out of office?

So it seems to me there must be more to the story...

Either that or I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Both of which are entirely possible ;)

he can forget about abandoning ambitions. he will not survive. nor will his family, probably. that's just the truth.

understand the people on this site talking tough, including me, are fired up but are total pussies compared to the people going to DC and not even touching this site because they have real shit to take care of.

Pence should hand. I'm am almost in the capital now but path past scaffolding into building is narrow.

2
Lapstrake 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm pretty sure that depending on Pence to do something or not do something is the final path to victory here.

Everybody needs to just calm down.

We don't know what is going to happen, but something will.

DroolingElmo 2 points ago +2 / -0

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2020/12/exclusive-read-memo-provided-vp-pence-noting-opportunity-save-country/

This explains it all. EVERYTHING is in Pence's hands and NO court, even scotus can overrule his legal, constitutional and PLENARY power.

I believe that Pence will do the Constitutional thing.

2
Lapstrake 2 points ago +2 / -0

Probably not everybody agrees with the magical memo.

In my opinion, there needs to be a BOOM before the election can turn around. Something that makes everybody including the normies breathe a sigh of relief that Harris and Biden are not going to take office.

3
DroolingElmo 3 points ago +3 / -0

Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln and Rutherford B Hayes all did successfully so the only question is will Pence come through, not if he has the power.

1
DroolingElmo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Isn't the video on Hunters laptop of Harris pegging Biden enough?

The hill article is true if there were not 2 sets of electors. If there weren't Pence would be without options.

But go read about the four prior examples of the President Pro Tem deciding elections unilaterally.

The best is Jefferson. He did not win in 1800 but he was the VP. So he walked in, said I have counted the votes and I have decided that I Thomas Jefferson is the next President, there will be no discussion, slammed down the gavel and walked out of the chamber.

No senator and congressman contesting, no discussion, no over ruling Jefferson. The Constitution gives one person, the VP, PLENARY control of the counting, and no court can review or overrule.

Will Pence have the guts?? I pray so.

He wont be able to walk down the street.

1
lragsdale17 1 point ago +1 / -0

There won’t be any chance for future elections, period.

1
Shadowflare 1 point ago +1 / -0

Any reason at all why he would betray trump? What makes you suspect that? He shady?

1
refresco 1 point ago +1 / -0

He wouldnt need to hold office or work again. The book deal alone would have set for life. I dont think he will abandon Trump, but the threat of lost votes wouldnt mean anything if he sided with evil.

My LUNATIC boomer boss drove 20 miles to go get "Uncirculated" 100$ to hand out.

I'm grateful, but damn that's some serious deranged cultism.

Karen's gonna Karen!

Rudyard 0 points ago +1 / -1

Since he doesn’t have any legal maneuvering room, and is constrained to count certified votes, what is it you want him to do? I presume you basically want him to call in sick and refuse to count, right? So, they’ll get someone else to. That would preserve Pence’s reputation.

3
FL_Trumpnado 3 points ago +4 / -1

No legal maneuvering room? Obviously you have no idea what Thomas Jefferson did in 1800 as President of the Senate. You appear to also not know that follow on laws such as the voting act of 1887 do not supercede the Constituion.

1
Rudyard 1 point ago +1 / -0

So that requires scotus to support ditching the 1887 act. Odds?

1
DroolingElmo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wrong

1
Rudyard 1 point ago +1 / -0

What your take? Pelosi and the Turtle invoke it and....?

0
FL_Trumpnado 0 points ago +1 / -1

LOL Pence can just do it as there is clearly established precedent. The Supreme Court can fuck off. Maybe learn something about Andrew Jackson's presidency.

1
DroolingElmo 1 point ago +1 / -0

And Jefferson, Lincoln and Rutherford B Hayes. Glad these guys are on our side but clearly were educated in government schools...

1
DroolingElmo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Correct

0
FL_Trumpnado 0 points ago +1 / -1

PS Also look at what President of the Senate Nixon did in 1960 with Hawaii dual electors where he ignored the previously certified R Electors and Chose D electors for Kennedy

-2
HORAC_PINKER -2 points ago +1 / -3

Cmon man! Pence cant do anything, he has no power to count just Trump votes.

1
DroolingElmo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Wrong. Omg does no one here read the dozens of links on this site that explain????

Since Pence has multiple envelopes from 7 states he has PLENARY power, can not be reviewed overruled or taken to court.
