I got her death certificate and the cause of death: comorbidity from pneumonia and heart attack. She was a very healthy and health-conscious person with great health insurance. I would not doubt they intentionally infected her and listed her death as COVID related -- NY did the same with nursing homes. Too bad we will never know whether or not they listed her death because of COVID. The crime of the century. May God bless those poor souls.

Ty for the comfort. I never got to say goodbye; It pains me greatly.

I pray God curses every doctor and nurse that do err. May they be haunted by the very person's life they decided to take away and cause them to spiral into mental chaos.

So sorry about your Grandmother.

You might write the coroner and ask she died with COVID or of COVID.

She died from "similar" symptoms you get from COVID.

Are you aware of anyone else in the facility who was sick or died of COVID?

The LAC Health Department would have those records.

Why bother? LA is so corrupt. They probably won't even tell you the truth.

The state (CHCQ) keeps stats on SNF with COVID-19 infections.

Each county reports; not sure where the break-out by name of facilities is on the website.

Can you honestly believe CA report? I am already highly doubting it after I received the death certificate indicating pneumonia and heart attack. The same symptoms being listed for being infected by COVID.

IDK. You might contact the nursing home directly and ask if any of the residents or workers are COVID positive.

If they don't want to answer, contact Barbara Ferrer's office and see if they have the information.

This should be public record with respect to COVID infections, deaths, and recoveries.

It should be listed as a public record. We need accountablilty.

I would suggest getting her medical records. Everything they did is in them.

You might need a nursing home legal professional.

I second this, try to gather whatever evidence you can and look into seeking damages.

If you can find something showing that they housed sick people there that weren't residents to begin with, then that's on the politicians and whatever they represent (be it city, county, or state) making the call and the home for allowing it to happen, so both should be sued. I'm no lawyer though, how would the newspaper put it, someone whose thoughts align with lawyers?

Bacterial pneumonia from being forced to wear a mask?

Sorry for your loss.

When you make a serious accusation such as "intentionally infected", bulletproof evidence must be had.

I don't know where to even begin getting that kind of evidence. Our enemies are killing us with a thousand needle pricks.

These need to be made clear, we're they listed or not.

I want to know which facilities lied for the money.

Sorry for your loss.

She was in a nursing home so probably not as healthy as you think she was. Pneumonia is a leading cause of death for the elderly. You should get more info if it makes you feel better but screaming that someone Murdered your Grandma isn't doing you or anyone else any good.

Someone who has medical insurance from a spouse that has served WW2 and Korean War and receiving a Military pension has the best care and well off to be healthy for a while longer.
