They won't announce it ahead of time but when the time comes more will stand as patriots. It won't be all and may not be half or even a quarter but Hawley will not stand alone. I'm sure of it.

First to come out like Hawley is the proud American the rest of the pack are cowards and Mitch ass kissers.
Cruz, Paul, Tuberville....?
I've been downvoted to -100 on here for saying Paul is an overrated piece of shit. I've had him up to here (points to my naval)
He lost me at immigration
Paul, for the most part, sticks to his principles, but they’re not always aligned to a populist like Trump. He also puts out an annual Festivus spending report. He consistently votes against pork belly spending. He’s the only truly budget conscious senator we have. He’s worked with Trump on multiple items, and has even called out election fraud.
He and Cruz alone filibustered John Brennan’s nomination. Can I genuinely ask where the Paul hate is coming from? I get Graham, Grassley, and the rest of the RINOs, but what did Paul do?
The guy has survived multiple assaults for his stands, a train crash that was probably an assassination attempt, and was raised by IMO the best congressman to have ever served. He’s a medical doctor who Trump has funded to treat disaster victims in the Caribbean.
Not trying to cuck for Paul, just don’t see the issue with him. I’m 30, so not a boomer either.
He’s called out the fraudulent election, he just hasn’t committed to objecting. This might sound cliche, but there’s actually a lot of politics that happens in the senate. Paul not having yet announced his objection could be because of a myriad of maneuvers behind the scenes. Aside from something we actually have no clue about, what has he done to deserve so much scorn?
He doesn’t simply vote no on bills that are going to pass... he goes on the news and highlights the terribleness of these bills, he debates them on the floor, he campaigns and fights to prevent those bills from going through. His entire existence is fighting for smaller government, you saying he’s ineffective might be true, but to me it speaks to his perseverance. He’s introduced tons of beneficial legislation like limiting the length of bills.
I’ll jump on the Paul hate wagon if he doesn’t actually object on the 6th, but I’m not ready to turn on him so quickly after being 1 of like 4 senators that’s actually fought for us his whole career.
The millennials and zoomers are the ones who like Paul
If Paul doesn't object I want him strung up with the rest of the traitors. I don't want to hear "MUH MUH MUH PRINCIPLES" when it comes to this shit.
Holder had sent a letter to Paul on March 4 that said there might be extraordinary circumstances, such as 9/11 or Pearl Harbor, where the government might have that authority. That response prompted Paul to hold an old-fashioned talking filibuster that went from 11:47 a.m. Wednesday to 12:39 a.m. Thursday.
While a number of Republicans rallied behind Paul, including Kentucky’s senior senator, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, it was John McCain and Lindsey Graham who broke with their party to oppose Paul’s stand against drone strikes on U.S. soil.
“I was going to vote against Brennan, until the filibuster,” Graham, of South Carolina, said Thursday. “I thought Brennan was arrogant, a bit shifty. I am going to vote for Brennan now because it’s become a referendum on the drone program.”
Y,y,y
They can stand and object all they want for the cameras, it’s the vote that counts. I’m tired of the empty words and inaction.
Both
I sincerely hope so!
I mean Ted Cruz should have been our shoe in for sure for a senator right?
yeah, him and others are probably waiting till the 6th to be more dramatic
How does he hold so much sway? Just because he’s been in it longer? Well that shouldn’t be the soul qualification. They should move for a vote of no confidence prior to the proceeding and see if they can delay the vote to gather more support or simply actually remove him. Think about it - Democrats would then turn about face to support Mitch tight after telling him to get out of the way.
It took me until Obamacare came through to learn the Republicans have mastered the art of “talk tough but do nothing.” They give ground every day all day. It’s a show. If you see Democrats and Republicans off the cuff they are laughing and slapping each other’s backs...no, you don’t do this with someone who is destroying your country. There is being polite and then there is being chummy.
Both sides have made money off the middle class for years. They grant foreign aid to countries that give high paying kickbacks by way of hiring senators sons, selling land on the cheap to senator owned international companies, etc. meanwhile Amazon and Walmart pay no taxes, pays employees just enough so they qualify for government assistance and take advantage of slave labor in third worlds. I digress, it’s a complete mess. We are to blame, we hung it up and stopped teaching our kids and the bad guys ran off with everything.
Why do you think so many won’t stand? They have to know what Americans see and want... right?? I’m thinking the ones that refuse to stand and do what’s right are bought outright by China to do their bidding.
I unfortunately think most of them are owned by China.
Complicit to the fraud=guilty

Need at least five more in case the WuFlu infection patrol decides to visit Hawley.
This makes a lot of sense.
I believe more will vote with Hawley. Am uncertain of the "strategy" in remaining unspecified at this time, other than it may make for more political impact if they wait to announce on 6 Jan (and I believe the group of Senators voting in support likely know to some degree who they are). I stayed at Holiday Inn Express.
Opportunistic cowards
In order for it to "count" the Senator and congress member have to formally present a letter of objection signed by both and prepared along specific lines. You cant just show up on the 6th and claim to object. Thats what the dems did in 2001 and the objections were discarded.
Hope so.
Epstein has the dirt on most of them too
It will be interesting. Whoever doesn't object will be exposed as swamp.
I’d guess max of five
I'm sure there will be at least a few others. They probably don't want to deal with McConnell's bitching and threats to their career. They will object the day of and tell Mitch to suck it.
Don't put too much faith in the cowardly Lion... he's been pretty mealy mouthed about any support to date.
They have to do it in writing per some bullshit procedural rule that Biden pulled out of his ass way back when he was a senator.
I wouldn't announce it if I were them, just to be sure you're alive to do it
Hawley was not the first or the second, FYI. There was a disabled man and a few women before him.
