I rang in the new year in 1993 with my 3 year old being diagnosed with Leukemia in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I feel your pain and it's heartbreaking. After a 3 and a half year battle, my son was cured.

My son was 17 months old when he was diagnosed with stage 3 liver cancer, thankfully after multiple rounds of chemo and a major surgery he's still with us today and passed his 2 years in remission recently and all clear. There is hope. I pray that your grandson, too, will overcome this. In conjunction with his treatment we gave him vitamin C and encouraged lots of filtered (reverse osmosis) water, especially during and in the days after a chemo session.
