I thought Canadian border was closed? Or are they flying out?
There are two ways for AK pedes to connect to the rest of the Country without going through Canada. As you mentioned, they can fly out, or there is an AK/WA ferry system that allows you to walk on or drive on to connect from a city on the AK coast (there's like 15 or so stops, most notably Anchorage and Juneau) to Bellingham, WA.
Yeah, out of Haines to go to Juneau. We really need to get the capital inland. The just hide out and spend it up.
I'm not from AK, so I wouldn't know. Juneau has no land routes to the rest of AK, and most people live in or around Anchorage, Anchorage is pretty much the economic center of Alaska anyways, and it's in a geographic location that makes sense for a state capital.
Yeah, I live in the Interior. Having no road access is not sensible. It's an 8 hour (legal speed limit ) drive from where I am just to Anch. Then to have to ferry or fly in is BS. I've only done it once on the ferry and it was crap. We all aren't rich to be flying into Juneau when we want to protest etc.
That's nuts. State capitals in every other state are usually located in a central area for ease of access. The happy medium for a lot of Alaskans seems to be Anchorage, doesn't make sense for it to be easier for Canadians to get to your state capital THAN YOUR OWN CONSTITUENTS. I don't understand the logic for having it as the capital.
The ferry isn't too well known about to people who don't live in Western WA or AK.

We've had a lot of smart brains working on the plans for this since the day Trump tweeted to be there. A lot of work has been put in by WA/OR/AK pedes to make sure this isn't just safe, but also efficient, fun, and as cheap as we can get it.

gas. we're splitting the gas bill. If we didn't it would be between $500 and $900 depending on the vehicle. We're only taking ones that are efficient enough and have enough seats to only cost each participant $80-$100

Weird post title then. Caravan implies a line of individual vehicles. So it made no sense that you were asking for money to just drive along with you.
lol it's a line of individual vehicles, but we're also carpooling and taking turns driving there and back. If it was cheaper to get a charter bus or something to take, we would have done that, but this is the cheapest way we could come up with for the long distance.

We are. Seattle, Portland, Bellingham, and Eugene Antifa groups have already tried infiltrating. We will stop in Helena, MT, Limon, CO, Louisville, KY, Charleston, WV. No other stops. We have other state caravans for just about every state.

We are carpooling w/ driver changes. participants need to be vetted. Pedes that want to drive separate along with us are invited, we also have some that are leaving early but meeting up w/ us in Colorado.

Yes, you can use the same instructions to join the TX state room instead of the WA state room. I believe they leave on the 4th, I'm not really involved in the plans for Texas too much, so I don't want to get anything wrong, just join the room and they'll be able to get you squared away.
