Kinda pointless since the banks don't even have money. Just numbers on computers

That's the truth!!
B of A told me (under Obama) they could only issue a check when I closed our accounts to move them to a credit union. I didn't ask for 'cash' ... so it was just weird that the rep volunteered this info.

Back in august i bought a used car for 8500.00 from a private citizen, and he wanted cash, not a check. So i went to my bank to make the withdrawal from my checking . (Chase Bank. ) You would have thought i was trying to rob them. They tried every way they could to prevent handing me actual cash. Money orders, cashiers check ,or bank transfer. Of course i said no,that i needed CASH!! But it was like 45 minutes before i actually got it and was able to leave the bank. On my way out i told them, its a damn shame when a person has to go through all that just to get my own damn money!!!!
