yeah there was a big era where a lot of writers had their takes. Fahrenheit 451 is another more commonly read book addressing censorship and total control.
I definitely see elements of both. It's really scary just how prophetic they both turned out to be.

First season of Brave new world came out 2020 I think on amazon prime with nine episodes. I don’t recommend it at all. I’d say instead watch handmaid tales.
I recommend Brave New World which is more akin to what is manifesting now. 1984 is the strategy BNW is the reality
