We aren't free and never have been. Our system of land means that we are essentially tenants of the Crown (even if we "own" the land). We have no freedom of speech. We voted twice in referendums to not allow local government to become the third layer of Government and they did it anyway. Then they declared all free land as "public land" which belong to local governments. Who are also allowed to make their own lay independent of the State or Federal government as long as it's under the guise of planning law. Our heads of State are just Chinese puppets and we continually sell off national assets to Chinese State-owned corporations.
Without the US we are simply a resource outpost for China and a source of (future) slave labour.

I'm someone that sings our national anthem - loudly. Always have. I'll sing the "old" version until the day I die. Fuck Morrison and fuck the wokenista that pushed for this.
Hard decisions are ahead, but one thing is clear whether we decide to do nothing and let them win or we take action civil society is never coming back in our lifetime. The world has never known peace like it has for the last 60 years. How easily do we forget.

If they ever change the Aussie flag without our permission, there'll be massive uproar from all across the country. They want to try that shit, they better prepare to deal with a hellstorm of angry Aussies with pitchforks. After all, vast majority of Aussies are fed up with PC bullshit and changing the flag is crossing the biggest line imaginable.
If you're going to take it upon yourselves to change to the Australian National Anthem without even consulting the Australian people about it first, why not go all the way?
Why not remove the part of the anthem that refers to us being free? At least it would be honest.
Holy shit i've been so laser focused on US politics I didn't even know they were trying to change it. : / If they bother with a referendum on gay marriage even though there was no legal distinction between that and a civil union (for tax purposes), the fact they didn't to change the national anthem doesn't bode well. But I'm originally from NZ, the idea of a authoritarian socialistic govt walking all over its people is old hat to me. :S
