Yes it was cold. A shit ton of Alaskans gathered along the costal trail for a good view of the fireworks. I was there freezing, yes, but didn’t see a single god dammed mask. Never been so proud to be amongst so many damn people freezing, ever in my life. They were some beautiful damn faces to see in public. Not one mask. (Since we usually wear gators to keep our faces warm, I believe everyone skipped this in order to make a “maskless” point).
