I can't imagine all those streets and bridges empty, with this finger-wagging and threatening socialist atrocity being cast in the skies above them.
And all of it in a year that should have seen an even bigger celebration, as it marks Brexit going through after all the years of BS (even if the deal was a bit shit, at least a bittersweet celebration was in order.) And to add insult to injury, there was no celebration of Brexit, and the colors displayed in the skies over London were the yellow and blue of the EU flag. What an unforgivable slap in the face this whole thing was. Like the whole year's worth of evil bullshit made into a gloating light show and projected over the skies of the capital that just a couple years ago held the magnificent, proud flyovers for the RAF 100. Seems like a century ago.
Oh, you know the Brit elites and their useful idiots weren't going to celebrate Brexit!
We usually watch the celebrations all around the world from our home out here in the middle of nowhere because the kids like the fireworks (who doesn't?), but no longer. We're going to keep up the tradition of the New Year's Day hunt though -- it's going to feel especially good handling guns this year.
