I'm from upstate NY mesr Poughkeepsie (not upstate but to city folk it is) and me being 8-9 at the time and finding out the New York Giants (who all my friends rooted for) played in New Jersey sealed my fate with the Bills. Young me couldn't stop asking, "If they play in Jersey why are they called the New York Giants." Lol I still say that to this day.
