If you read the article though, basically all sports viewership is down. Even less woke sports. I think it's good people are tuning out but I'm not sure how much it has to do with wokeness. I'm sure some amount is due to that. Probably not as much as we'd like to think though.

They're still surprised that what they thought was a captive audience during lockdowns found other stuff to do instead.
Because you have more time to find other stuff.
People like sports because it’s a social thing.. it’s in the background - cheer as a group... get on the other guys nerves when your team scores...
Sport is boring as fuck watching alone.. the people content following it alone religiously are very few.
A lot of people just view sports as trivial right now with everything going on.
